REYNAR

Lila June

July 27, 1953 -Jan. 27, 2014

Lila Reynar (Stenberg) went to be with her Lord and Saviour on January 27, 2014 at the age of 60 years due to complications from COPD.

Lila spent her early years at Gadsby and Stettler. She was raised on a farm and always cherished her rural background. After graduating from school, she met her husband Chuck while employed at the Royal Bank in Stettler, and the two were married on July 7, 1973. Lila spent the major part of her career working with accounting firms in Edmonton and always loved "playing" with numbers. She had a flair for art and was known for her fabulous Jambalaya. Being an oilfield wife, she lived in many Alberta centers, as well as Broken Arrow, OK for several years. Lila was a woman of faith and devoted her life in later years to her Church, her family, friends, and visiting the elderly.

Lila was predeceased by her husband, Charles (Chuck) on Jan. 7, 2014 just prior to her passing. She is survived by their loving son, Evan; sisters Darlene Tracy and Vivian Holtby (Russell); brothers-in-law Syd Reynar (Gert) and Tom Reynar (Jacquie); sisters-in-law Linda Chupka (Michael) and Pat Reynar; step-brothers Ken (Lee Ann) and Terry (Gwen) Stenberg, step-sister-in-law Liduina; and step-sister Gloria McCauley (John) along with numerous nephews, nieces and friends. Lila was predeceased also by her parents Willard and Verna Stenberg, step-mother Olga, step-brother Carl and brothers-in-law Randy Reynar and Morris Tracy.
