Lacey Jean Young was born on October 16, 1978, the second daughter for Sue and Ron and a little sister to Candice.
Lacey was a mischievous, spirited, stubborn girl. She walked her own path in life. She loved to laugh, golf and bowl and spend time with her family and numerous friends. Lacey was a social butterfly and was always on the go. She had things to do and places to go and people to see. Lacey loved trucks...she would not be seen in any other vehicle.
Lacey's biggest joys were her two boys Riley and Brodie. She was proud of their accomplishments and they were her champions. She loved her mom, her sister Candice, her brother-in-law Arbey, her niece and nephew Quinton and Kelsey. She is now in the arms of her Dad.
Lacey was predeceased by her dad Ron, her Hadley grandparents and her Knight grandparents. Left to mourn her loss are her sons Riley and Brodie; her mom Sue; her sister Candice (Arbey) Morris and her niece and nephew Quinton and Kelsey; aunts Marilyn (Dan) Hebert, Carol (Don) Kadutski, Wanda Hart, Gail (Vince) Miazga and Terri Kowalchuk; beloved cousins and numerous friends.
Lacey passed away on November 15, 2017 at home with her mom and sister by her side.
A Celebration of Life led by Reverend Jack Schulze was held on Thursday, November 23, 2017 at the Stettler Funeral Home, Stettler, Alberta.
