SCHULTZ, KATIE
Mrs. Katie Schultz passed away on December 16, 2009 at Our Lady of the Rosary Hospital, Castor, Alberta at the age of eighty-four years. Mass of Christian Burial was held at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Castor, Alberta on January 5, 2010 with Father Arlan Parenteau officiating. Basil Nichol was adult server. Rosa Weber and Colette Fetaz together conducted the musical portion of the Mass. Peggy Sieben and Duane Nichol offered the readings. The Catholic Women's League formed an Honour Guard with the pallbearers being Jim Scheck, Leonard Wotschell, Gabe Wotschell, Ed Wotschell, Carl Sieben and Edwin Schultz, as Katie was laid to rest at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Cemetery beside her husband Lawrence and her daughter Darlene. Katie leaves her sons Gordon and Edwin Schultz of Edmonton, her sister Vera Sieben of Drayton Valley, numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
