Born August 3, 1921, in Hout Blerick, Holland, Died September 24, 2010, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Katie, our Mother and Oma passed away peacefully, but suddenly with her family by
her side. Left to celebrate her life are her loving children; Helen (Bert), Jack (Helen), Mary, Elly (Reg), Katie (Barry), Harry (Ellen), Bernadette (Chris), Rene; son-in-law Julien;
twenty-one grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; five sisters as well as numerous other relatives. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Henry, in 2007 and her beloved daughter, Carly in 1992. Prayer vigil will be held on Friday, October 1, at 7 pm in Caleb Manor Chapel, at 6411-199 St.. Edmonton. Father John Reddy Duggimpudi will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 18407 - 60 Ave. Edmonton on Saturday October 2, at 10:30 am.
