With sadness we announce the passing of Julia our loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Julia was born on February 23, 1923 and passed away on May 3, 2018 at the age of 95 years.
Julia and Stewart were married Oct 15, 1945. Julia worked hard for what she believed in and was always a loving person and dedicated to her family. After retiring Julia and Stewart enjoyed playing bingo, gardening and especially fishing.
There were many happy family gatherings over the years. Julia will be remembered for her boundless energy and enthusiasm for life.
Predeceased by her son Gordon (Sharon) in 2010 and her husband Stewart in 2011; as well as 11 brothers and sisters.
Julia is survived by her son Don (Sharon); grandchildren, Tara (Dean) Preston, Stacey (Kevin) Lodewyk, Carlie (Jim) Barath and Brett (Denise) Snell; great grandchildren, Kalee and Jory Lodewyk, Avery and Maddox Barath, Elaina, Adriana and Gia Snell. Julia is also survived by brother John (Rose) Neigum; sister Anne Lemare and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Friday May 11, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Stettler Funeral Home, Stettler, Alberta 4707-70 St. (directly south of Walmart) with Pastor Ross Helgeton officiating.
