Julia Florence Jarmin passed away peacefully on May 31, 2012 with her family at her side. She will be lovingly remembered by her two children: Dan (Teresa) and Brenda (Dave), four grandchildren: Charla (Scott), Travis, Nicole (Joe), and Natasha (Cody), three great grand-children: Kate, Ryan, and Hadley, and her companion, Jesse. Julie was born on September 14, 1936 in Athabasca, Alberta to parents, Katarzyna and John Dzleglo. Her passions in life included spending time with family and friends, tending to her garden, picking her berries, canning her harvest, and keeping her home neat and tidy. Julie had a compassionate heart for all types of animals. Family and friends were always blessed by Julie's generosity, her spirited personality, and her cheerful laughter. She had a special way of finding hope and inspired those closest to her to always find the best in every situation.

Funeral mass was celebrated on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at Christ King Catholic Church in Stettler, Alberta with Father Arlan Parenteau officiating. Julie rests in peace now with her three daughters: Sandra, Linda and Laurie at Lake View Cemetery, Stettler, Alberta. Donations in Julie's memory can be made to the charity of one's choice; planting a sunflower in your garden will honor her memory.
