DETLOR
John Ernest Detlor passed away on May 19, 2012 at the Stettler Health Care Centre at the age of 68 years. John was born in Oshawa, Ontario on March 8, 1944 and was raised by foster parents in Ontario. When his foster parents died he moved to Alberta with his wife, Brenda in 1988. He leaves to mourn his wife ,Brenda of Stettler; six children: Steven, John-Paul, Tracey, Sara, Stacey and Chad; eight grandchildren: Maddyson, Sierra, A.J., Kiara, Courtney, Jonathan, Breanna and Mitchell. John loved fishing, camping and watching his son play soccer.
Funeral services were held at Scapa Cemetery with Rev. Robert Grewe officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your own choice. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.stettlerfuneralhome.com
