Jeanette Elizabeth Johnson (Tucker) passed away on February 10, 2010 at the age of 63. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 43 years, Ken Johnson of Delburne, AB; a son, Keith (Tracy) Johnson of Delburne, AB; and a daughter, Stacey (Ted) Sim of Tees, AB. Jeanette's memory will be cherished by ve beautiful grandchildren, Mackenzie, Kennedy, Drew, Kole, and Avery. She will also be lovingly remembered by brother in law, Howard (Phyllis) Johnson of Sylvan Lake and sister in law, Marion McLeod of Red Deer and several nieces and nephews. Jeanette was born in Edmonton and raised in rural Central Alberta. She grew up active in her community and church. She spent summers as a playground coordinator and as a member of Jobs Daughters she is a past Honoured Queen. She continued her love of rural life when she married Ken and started their life together on a farm south of Sylvan. Family drew them to Red Deer and nally Delburne where they settled into semi retirement. She had a new found love for golf. Golfing and camping kept her busy every weekend through the summer. She had started to cut back on yard work and gardening so she could be rv-ing every weekend. Once bestowed the title of Grandma, she was thrilled to sew baby blankets and beautiful Christmas dresses, taking grandkids going and on weekend camping trips. At Jeanette's request, a private service will be held for immediate family on Saturday, February 13. Anyone wishing to attend an open house on Saturday, February 13 from 2-4 pm. are welcome to join family and friends at the Delburne Drop In Center at 2107 20 Street Delburne.
