NEWTON - It is with hearts full of love that we said our final farewell to our mother and grandmother. Jean A. Newton died on Sunday, Feb. 22, 2009 at 80 years of age. She will be forever loved and remembered by daughter Wendy Graham and son-in-law Ken, grandsons Kent (Leann) and Rob (Kelsey), daughter Shelley Bolin and grandchildren Ryan (Melissa) and Selene and their father Pat Bolin and son Danny Newton and daughter-in-law Marla and their children Janelle, Chad, Rayna and Danielle. Jean is also survived by special nieces Jeri, Dallas, Candy and Marcy and their families; brother-in-law Bob Hurlburt, sisters-in-law Ruth Newton, Helen Newton and Gwen Anderson; numerous other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her father Henning, mother Esther, sister Ardis, brother Dennis and her husband Chuck. A funeral service was held at The Brennen Funeral Home Chapel in Stettler on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2009 with Pastor Ross Helgeton officiating. Jean’s active pallbearers were her eight grandchildren: Kent & Rob Graham, Ryan & Selene Bolin, Janelle, Chad, Rayna and Danielle Newton. The honorary pallbearers were everyone who has cared for Jean in the last four years. The members of the Order of the Eastern Star formed an honor guard at the interment at Lake View Cemetery.
