KNIGHT - Jean (McDonald) passed away at the Stettler Hospital and Care Centre, Oct. 16, 2008 at the age of 89 years. Jean was born in Scotland on July 15, 1919, predeceased by her soulmate Tom in 2005, four brothers and two sisters; she was the last of a family of seven. She was a very kind person and had many friends. She loved crafts, cards at the drop-in and her flowers at the farm. She is survived by her son Ken (Claire) of Winnipeg, MB; her granddaughter Cheryl (Mike) Redmond, great-granddaughters Desiree and Britney of Edmonton, AB; grandson Ian (Jan) Knight, great-granddaughter Alicia and great-grandson Spencer of Victoria, B.C.; sisters-in-law Pauline and Shirley McDonald; many nieces, nephews and friends. A memorial service will be held in the Alix Community Hall on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Cremation has been entrusted to Stettler Funeral Home & Crematorium.
