BERRY, Janette Eva (nee Radke)
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Janette on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at the age of 84 years.
She will be forever loved and remembered by her husband of 67 years, Lowell; children, Brenda (Murray), Lana, Nancy, Grant (Darlene), Trevor (Alison); 12 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
Also to mourn her loss are two sisters, Jean Anderson, Mae Brown; one brother, Glen (Miriam) Radke; brother-in-law, Warren (Eileen) Berry, and sister-in-law, Norma (Ray) Nims; extended family and many friends.
Janette was predeceased by her daughter, Sandi, son-in-law, Gordon; two granddaughters, Lisa and Monica Klaus; as well as two brothers, Herman and Paul Radke.
She will be remembered for her love for family, camping, fishing, and cards. Janette had a skill for filleting and frying fish, and her homemade noodles were a family favorite.
The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the homecare staff, and the staff at the Castor Hospital for all their compassion and support over the past few weeks.
A Celebration of Janette's Life will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Halkirk Community Hall, Mainstreet, Halkirk, AB.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Janette's memory to Our Lady of the Rosary Hospital, 5402-47 Street, Castor, AB T0C 0X0.
