Mr. Jim Andersen of Stettler, Alberta passed away suddenly on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at the age of 76 years. Jim was born and raised in the Stettler area. He attended SAIT in Calgary and NAIT in Edmonton where he obtained his journeyman's license in carpentry. Jim loved his woodworking, his family and his dog, Dusty. Jim was married to Enid on October 9, 1965 in Wetaskiwin and to this union two children were born, daughter Lynn and son Colin. Jim is survived by his loving wife Enid, daughter Lynn (Darrell) Fenning of Calgary and grandson Andrew Fenning, sisters Nellie (Dick) deBoer of Calgary and Edith (Jim) Erickson of Lodgepole. Jim was predeceased by his son Colin in 1987. A memorial service will be held in the Stettler United Church on Monday, April 2, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. with the Rev. David Denholm officiating.
