Jacobus Cornelis "Cor"
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving husband, father, opa, and great grandfather, Jacobus Cornelis "Cor" de Ruiter on Monday, January 18th, 2009 in Red Deer, AB at the age of 82 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Tonya; daughter, Rietta (Jeff) and their children; son, John (Leanne) and John's children, their mother, Joyce; and John's step-son, son; Frank (Diane) and their children; Cecilia (William) and their children. Cor was predeceased by his parents, two brothers, one sister and one sister-in-law. A Funeral Mass was be held on Friday, January 22, 2010 in St. Mary's Catholic Church. In living memory of Cor de Ruiter, a tree will be planted in the Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium Memorial Tree Park in the Red Deer County, AB.
