Jack Grams was born on December 5, 1930 near Endiang, Alberta to parents Gottlieb and Fredrika Grams. He was one of seven children.
Growing up he attended Leith Hill and Rosetta Schools.On March 7, 1958, he married the love of his life Vi Johnson. They settled into farm life in the Endiang District working together and raising their four boys, Rod, Clayton, Randy and Morgan.
In October 2016, Jack and Vi left the farm, moving to Paragon Place in Stettler. Due to his declining health Jack moved to Heritage House Long Term Care in February 2018. He passed away peacefully surrounded by family on May 9, 2018.
Jack is survived by his wife Vi Grams of Stettler; his sons: Rod (Debbie) of Endiang, Clayton (Linda) of Edmonton, Randy (Kathi) and Morgan (Carla) both of Botha: grandchildren: Danny (Marie), Erin (Dustin), Kris, Shane (Becky), Kendra (Therrin), Brandon, Chad (Jill) and Kyle; 14 great grandchildren; sister Clara Morlang of Duncan, BC; and a large extended Johnson Family; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.
A Funeral Service took place at the Heartland Chapel, Stettler Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Kevin Driver officiating. Interment took place at the Endiang Cemetery. A luncheon was prepared and served by Brenda's Cozy Cafe.
Memorial donations may be made to the Stettler Handi-Bus, Stettler Health Services - Heritage House or to the County of Stettler Housing Authority - Paragon Place.
