Mrs. Ina Luella Damberger passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 22, 2011, at the age of 88 years ending her circle of life, at Stettler, Alberta. Survived by her six children, Sharron Scott (Patrick) of Edmonton Alberta, Darlene Tantrum of Donalda, Alberta, Ardeth Reay (George) of Winnipeg MB, Barry Damberger (Judy) of Logan Lake, B.C., Marty Damberger of Blackfalds, AB and Richard Damberger (Vivian) of Amisk, AB. Sixteen grandchildren; Michelle Jasonson, Shaunna Westergard (Gregg), Greg Tantrum, Jason Tantrum (Marisa), Sean Tantrum (Lindsay), Avis Reay-Senese (Don), George Jr. Reay, Chantelle Lembicz, Scott Damberger (Sabrina), Shane Damberger (Randi), Graham Damberger, Jillian Wood (Chris), Christopher Damberger (Kara), Jordan Damberger (Melissa), Jesse Damberger and Tyler Damberger. She is also survived by twenty Great-grandchildren, brother Paul Heisz (Yvette) and sisters Ida Brown, Ila Sawchyn and Iona Kushner (Alec). Ina was predeceased by her parents Roy and Opal Heisz, husband Cortez Damberger, brothers Leo and Lyle Heisz and sister Irene Walker. Ina was born on February 20, 1923 at Donalda Alberta. She grew up and remained her whole life in the Donalda area. Her career was wife and mother however, she did work in a local grocery store and also for many years at the CIBC bank where she survived one robbery. Ina was very active in local community organizations as a board member of the Donalda & District Museum Society, Executive Member of the Donalda Coulee Friendship Society, Donalda Cemetery Club, a CGIT Leader and was a committee member in the construction of the World’s Largest Lamp. In her late years she was active in ice curling and floor curling, enjoyed playing cards, board games, circle-a-word and bingo. Her hobbies included ceramics, quilting, crocheting, sewing, reading and watching most sports games. Ina's biggest passion was enjoying the activities and interest of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A celebration of Ina's life was held on Friday May 27, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the Donalda Community Hall followed by a reception and fellowship. As an expression of sympathy and in loving memory of Ina, memorial contributions can be made to Donalda Community organizations such as the Donalda & District Museum Society, Donalda Cemetery Club or the Donalda Coulee Friendship Club in care of
