Hugh LeBlanc passed away October 2, 2019 at the age of 88 years. Hugh was born February 4, 1931 in Wakaw, SK to parents Oscar and Betha LeBlanc. Hugh is survived by his wife Mildred of Stettler; their daughter Wanda (Russell) Speed of Donalda, sons Lawrence (Susan) LeBlanc of Okotoks and Wayne (Helen) LeBlanc of Lousana; grandchildren: Cheryl (Daniel) Rushton, Jennifer (Lawrence) Shuffler, Colleen (Logan) Wainwright, Krystal (Colter) Hutton, Hailey (Colin) Lebedeff, Tyler (Candice Yip) LeBlanc, Candice (Brayden) Marek, Vincent (Karli) LeBlanc and Jade (Travis) Pisko; 17 great grandchildren; brothers Marcien LeBlanc of Stauffer, Gerry LeBlanc of Ottawa and sisters Julliet Lanoutte of Swan River, MB and Clarice Chartier of St. Lazare, MB; as well as other relatives and many friends. Hugh was predeceased by his parents, son Perry Alain
LeBlanc in 1960 and all his seven siblings gone before.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at 2 pm with Pastor Ross Helgeton officiating. His grandchildren presented a loving tribute of their memories about Grandpa. Friends joined the family in the Reception Centre for a time of fellowship and a luncheon by Teresa's Catering. Interment took place at Trenville Cemetery with Tyler LeBlanc, Vincent LeBlanc, Daniel Rushton, Lawrence Shuffler, Logan Wainwright, Colter Hutton, Brayden Marek and Travis Piskoas Pallbearers.
