OLLIVE - Herbert Gene - June 19, 1957 – Nov. 7, 2008. Herb took his last ride into the Winners Circle in the sky on Nov. 7, 2008. Herb passed away peacefully at the Langley Memorial Hospital with his family by his side. He will be sadly missed by his children Brandon (14), Tiana (10), Caitlyn (9), and their mother Michelle; parents Mae and Len; brothers: Bruce (Connie), Wayne (Sally); sisters: Gayle (Lyle) Cassidy, Kathy (Terry) Andersen, Wendy (Don) Davidson; nieces and nephews: Carrie (Trevor), Jodi (Cy), Patrick (Lorraine), Dorn (Courtney), Christy (Joey), Ricky (Jaime), Cody (Julie), Bobbi-Jo (Brian), Jamie, Lanham, Denton (Tara), Alyce, Logan, Patrick, Connor, Meg; great-nieces & nephews: Jeffrey, Jordan, Jaycee, Breck, Cutler, Chase, Marin, Morgan, Casen, Bryce, Logan, Cutter, Madison, Tristan, Elizabeth, and Hayden; special cousins: Jack Ollive and Maureen Routley; aunts: Grace, Harriet (Therol), Janice; special friend and sister-in-law Terry Bazso; special friend and brother-in-law Brad Diamond; many other loving family members and dear friends in Canada and the United States.
I know I am still with you

A funeral service was held at the Stettler Community Hall, Stettler, AB on Saturday, Nov. 15, 2008 at 1 p.m. with Rev. Jack Schulze officiating. Call to Post started the service. Patrick Cassidy and Wayne Ollive gave fond loving words to Herb’s family and friends in attendance. Jim Wiggins shared the eulogy. Jeff Davidson played and sang “What A Wonderful World.” A musical tribute of “Angels Among Us,” “When I Get To Where I’m Going” and “In the Garden.” were played. A DVD presentation was given by Lorene Turre; put together with Herb’s family. Interment took place at Botha Woodland Cemetery.
