Grant Wayne Everett passed away August 31, 2021 at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary Alberta. Grant was born on November 25, 1944, to parents Clarence and Bernice Everett. Grant spent his childhood years on the farm south of Botha, Alberta. His school years were at Zenith School, Botha School and Stettler School.
Grant was employed in various occupations. Those being in the north in seismic exploration, truck driving , heavy duty mechanic, and owned Grants Radiator and Small Engine Repair in Stettler Alberta. After moving to High River Alberta he was employed by the Municipal District until he retired.
Grant was married to Joy Peterson in this union two sons were born Michael Everett and Kerry Everett. In later years Grant married Shirley Johnson who then worked with him at Grant's Radiator. He enjoyed RV camping, fishing, golfing, and riding his Cam-Am Spyder. Grant was also actively involved with the local Fire Department in Stettler when he resided there.
In his later years he took several road trips on his motorcycle with friends throughout Canada and the United States.
Grant is survived by his children, Michael (Beth) Everett, Kerry (Chantelle) Everett, Grandchildren Serena, Asia, Redmond, Colton, Hazel, and Clarice.
Brother Clifford (Rena) Everett and their children. Sister Rachel (Lorne) Akre and their children. As well as many numerous family members and friends.
Grant was predeceased by his Wife Shirley, Brother Barry, Parents Clarence and Bernice Everett, Grandparents Robert and Hazel Everett and Grandparents Edgar and Jennie Riggins.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Grant and Shirley will be interred together at the Botha Cemetery in Botha Alberta in the family plot.
