LATTERY

Our most loved and respected wife, mom, grandma and great grandma "Florence Marie Lattery" was born September 8, 1938 at Fairholm, SK. She went to God on August 19, 2010. Florence will be missed and forever loved by her husband of 55 years John; her children: David (Cheryl), Deanna (Brent), Donald (Joyce), Darcy (Jacquie) and was predeceased by infant daughter Darla; ten grandchildren who had a very special place in her heart: Tyson (Brianne), Luke (Barbie), Kyla (Patrick), Amber (Steve), Nicole (Robert), Seth, Clinton, Nolan (Reann), Ashley (Ryan) and step granddaughter Savanna; five great grandchildren she loved very much: Chelsey, Dylan, Teagan, Jayse and Beck. Mom was the most devoted, wonderful and loving lady, to her, family was everything. There was always room in her heart for more friends and family, who all held an honored place in her life. Her great love for horses, dogs, flowers and music was well known. Mom was a very spiritual person and greatly enjoyed cowboy church. Mom will forever be in the hearts of her family and friends. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, August 24, 2010 with Pastor Ross Helgeton officiating. Don and Joyce Lattery presented the family tribute. Evelyn Strandquist played the organ for the congregational hymns and for the musical selection of "One Day At A Time" by Evelyn Shursen, Roy Klaus and Lettie Wyzykoski. Several pieces of Kitty Wells "Gathering Flowers for the Masters Bouquet" and "How Far Is Heaven" were played during the service as well as "Mansion Over The Hilltop." Florence was laid to rest at Lake View Cemetery in Stettler with Vic & Joyce Stuckey, Bill & Lillian Kirtley, Ken & Helen Smith and Len & Sheila Watson as Honorary Pallbearers. Active Pallbearers were Luke Bradley, Nolan Lattery, Clinton Lattery, Patrick Flanders, Steve Powell, Seth Bradley, Tyson Lattery and Robert Johnson. Family and friends gathered in the Heartland Reception Centre for a time of fellowship and a light luncheon prepared and served by the Linda Hall Ladies. Memorial donations may be made to the Alberta Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of choice.
