In Loving Memory ~
It is with deep sadness, that at the age of 90 years, we announce the passing of our dear beloved Dad, Grandpa, and Big Poppa.
Our dad has now joined his beloved wife, our mom, Margaret.
He leaves to mourn his children, Darrell (Mary) Swanson, Brian (Liz) Gulliford, Jo-Anne Miller, Gerald (Marie) Swanson, Sharron Hill, Arlene (Sparky) Uhrich, Anita (Lee) Uhrich; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Our father immigrated to Canada from Germany in 1954 and landed in Quebec. He made his way across Canada to B.C. where he met his wife Margaret and then they settled in Alberta. Felix worked for the County of Stettler and eventually became the Erskine Grader Operator until he retired.
In his retirement he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially all the little ones. He was a devoted gardener; his cucumber patches were his passion and he continuously tried to outdo previous years. You could always count on seeing Felix out puttering in his yard.
He will be deeply missed by all his family and friends.
A celebration of Felix's life will be held on Friday, February 11, 2022, the service will be recorded and may be viewed the following day by visiting www.stettlerfuneralhome.com where condolences to the family may also be expressed. Donations in memory are gratefully accepted to any children's charity.
