Ernest "Ernie" Hrushka of Bashaw, Alberta, formerly of Duvernay, Alberta, passed away on Monday, July 15, 2024 at the age of 87 years.
Left to cherish his memory are his sons Cory (Hendriatta) Hrushka, and Troy Hrushka; two grandchildren; and sisters Gloria (Terry) Gunter, and Mary Anne Hrushka. Ernie was predeceased by his parents John and Elizabeth; and siblings George, Victoria, John, and Isidore.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Ernie's birthday, Monday, August 12, 2024 at 11:00 a.m., at the Legion in Bashaw. (5115 - 50 St). If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions in Ernie's memory may be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation or to the Alberta Diabetes Foundation.
