Douglas Earle
Doug was peacefully ushered into the presence of his Lord and Saviour on March 26, 2012. Doug was born on March 23, 1952 in Stettler, AB. He grew up on the farm south of Erskine and attended the Erskine School. Doug was the oldest of nine children of Harold and Dorothy Boyce. He leaves to mourn, his father, Harold Boyce; his siblings Lois (Doug) Plett, Ken (Audrey) Boyce, Marilyn (Peter) Caden, Kathy (Sterling) Burrell, Bev (Lowry) Burrell, Murray (Lahny) Boyce. Uncle Dougie will be remembered fondly by his 42 nieces and nephews and 25 great nieces and nephews. Doug was predeceased by his mother Dorothy; sisters Diane Gessleman and Christine Boyce; brothers-in-law, Al Thibeau and John Gessleman. Doug was proud of his family, always bragging about his nieces and nephews. Doug loved to chat and had a genuine concern for everyone. A Celebration Service of Doug's life will be held on Monday, April 2, 2012, at Crossroads Church 38105 Range Rd 275, Red Deer County at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Camp Silversides, Box 519, Bentley, AB., T0C 0J0 or to The Gideons, Box 3619, Station Main, Guelph, ON., N1H 9Z9.
