Doris Elene Tagtmeyer was born on February 28, 1936 in Three Hills, Alberta to parents Helen and Richard Tagtmeyer. Doris passed away peacefully on March 7, 2014 at the age of 78 years in the Bentley Care Centre, Bentley, Alberta. Doris is survived by husband Lorne Yarbrough; daughters Debbie (Wayne) Bragg and Michelle Yarbrough (Ed); grandchildren: Mike Bragg, Christine Bragg (Dave Wilson), Kristal Cunningham, Kyle (Heather) Cunningham, Kalinda Cunningham, Mark (Nicole) Cochrane and Kaylee Cochrane (Allan Waugh); great grandchildren: David Jamez Wilson and Brooke Cochrane; brother Jim Tagtmeyer; sisters: Arlene Litvak, Merlyn (Tag) Sutherland and Laurel Richards; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. Doris was predeceased by her mother Helen Doris Tagtmeyer (Morgan); father Richard William Tagtmeyer; daughter Dawn Cochrane and sister Betty Clarke. A celebration of Doris' life was held on Sunday, March 16, 2014 in the Heartland Chapel of Stettler Funeral Home, Stettler, Alberta with Reverend Greg Rathjen officiating with special memories shared by Barry Richards.
