NEWELL
Mrs. Doreen Newell passed away at the Stettler Health Care Centre on March 9, 2010 at the age of 87 years. Doreen was born June 27, 1922 at Castor Alberta to David and Alberta Lind. She grew up and attended school Bulwark, Alberta. In 1941 she married Melvin "Tuffy" Lynn and raised two children Brian and Yvonne; and was a wonderful mother. She will be lovingly remembered as a very kind and special "Lady" by her son Brian (Susan) Lynn of Stettler; her grandchildren: Donnie (Bonnie) Lynn, Kathy (Rick) Angus, Bonny (Don) Manson, Tracey (Gerald) Monds and Tammy (Robert) Ripley; eleven great grandchildren; as well as many friends. She was predeceased by her husbands Tuffy Lynn and Jim Newell; her daughter Yvonne Bogstie; great grandson Neil Manson; as well she was the last remaining of her generation of the Lind family. A graveside funeral will be held at the Erskine Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations may be made in Doreen's name to a charity of your own choice.
