Donald "Don" Ernest
Don was born on Wednesday, July 18, 1962 at Nelson, British Columbia to parents Dorothy and Ernest Hanson completing the family of one girl and two boys. Don passed away at his home in Stettler, Alberta on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at the age of 54 years.
Don is survived by his loving family: wife Tami Hanson of Stettler; daughter Toby (Steve) Jack of Fort Saskatchewan; son Adam Mitchell of Airdrie; grandchildren Cole Jack and Olivia Jack; sister Marilyn (Steve) Rigby of Edson; brother Gord (Terry) Hanson of Lloydminster; mother in law Nona Wilkins of Sceptre, SK; father in law Aaron (Barb) Anderson of Airdrie; sisters in law Tracy (Art) Henuset of Calgary and Tara Heard of Swift Current; brother in law Pat (Dorothy) Wilkins of Kelowna; nieces and nephews: Sharlene, Josh, Ashley, Andrea, Stacey and their spouses and children; other family members and many dear friends.
Interment service for the late Don Hanson took place at 11:30 A.M. on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at the Lake View Cemetery, Stettler, Alberta followed by a funeral service for Don at 2:00 P.M. in the Heartland Chapel of Stettler Funeral Home, Stettler, Alberta.
