Clifford Albert Cowan of Stettler, Alberta passed away at the age of 90 years on November 28, 2017. He was born April 30, 1927 at Gadsby, Alberta to George and Sarah Cowan.
Clifford attended the Rosebank school until the age of 14 years, then started to work for various farmers.
Clifford married Frances Cameron on April 3, 1964. They had four children: Hazel, Helen, Theresa and Raymond.
At a young age he made a choice to follow Jesus, he kept true to that choice until the time of his passing.
Clifford enjoyed the animals on the farm as well as his large garden and his fruit trees.
Clifford is survived by his wife Frances, daughter Theresa; son Raymond (Tracy) Cowan; son-in-law Murray Davidson; grandchildren Jayden and Dustin (Miranda) and their children Mykayla, Carson and Levi; brothers Grenald, John, Irvin (Norma) and Percy (Carol); sister Ruby; sister-in-law Emmy Cowan; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.
Clifford was predeceased by his parents, daughters Hazel Davidson and Helen Cowan; sister Berta (Tom) Taylor; brothers: Alex (Gladys) Ken, Alvin; sisters-in-law Jean and Harriet and brother-in-law Eugene.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Stettler Funeral Home, 4707-70 Street, Stettler.
