He was born May 8, 1941 to Charles and Florence Palmer in Victoria, BC; he spent most of his childhood and young adult life in Whitehorse, Yukon. Charles enjoyed travelling; some of his favourite destination spots were Honolulu, Fiji, Australia and also made several trips to Las Vegas to play the tables and roll the dice. Charles dealt with many health issues through the years but his determination to live was astounding as in 1983 was diagnosed with cancer and was given 3 weeks to 3 months to live, however he proved them wrong and has been a loving support to his daughter Anna and grandson Cameron, they will miss him, his smile and his generous heart.
