It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Bev on July 25, 2011. She passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones at the age of 74. Bev was born in Toronto and at the age of 19, after attending Ontario Teachers College, made her way to Alberta with her Mother where she would spend the rest of her days. Bev enjoyed gardening, cooking, fishing and camping. She loved being surrounded by family and was at her happiest when she was baking and cooking for family holiday gatherings. She was quick with a kind word and went out of her way to make sure everyone felt welcome. Bev is survived by her loving husband, Fred Ball; Children: Susie Sterenberg, Richard Dozois, Robert Dozois and Lori-Ann Larsen; eleven Grandchildren: Kristine, Erica, Rebecca, Braeden, Connor, Matthew, Mark, Kennedy, Destiny, Evan and Tate. The family would like to thank the staff at Foothills Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion. There will be a celebration of Bev's life on August 13th, 2011 at the IOOF Hall in Erskine, Alberta from 1:30 to 4:30.
