Amanda Kathrine Louise Bosma (née Johnston)

May 30, 1981 – March 30, 2021
With great sadness we announce the passing of Amanda Bosma, on March 30, 2021, at her home at Stettler, AB.
Amanda was born on May 30, 1981 in Winnipeg, MB to Bill and Kathy Johnston. She was the first grandchild to Jim and Kay, who were a big influence on her and she loved them dearly.
In 1993 she moved to White Rock, BC and attended Earl Marriott Secondary where she made many lifelong friends. She was a beauty and her vivacious energy and sense of humour were unmistakable.
In 2001 she moved to Stettler, AB and in 2002, she became mother to Alicia, the first of two daughters. She married Don in 2006 and in 2007, her second daughter Summer was born. Amanda said “they were her greatest accomplishments” and she loved being their mother. She was a dedicated wife and resided on the Bosma family farm up until her death.
Amanda gave her heart into everything she did. She was creatively artistic, spiritual, and a passionate force to be reckoned with.
She will be truly missed by surviving family: husband Don Bosma, children Alicia (LaRose) and Summer (Bosma), parents Bill and Kathy (Mike), sister Christine, brothers Tyler (Taisha) and Marko, grandparents, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.
In lieu of flowers a donation to Stettler & District Family and Community Support Services, Grief & Loss Group, would be appreciated.
Due to Covid 19 restrictions a celebration of life will be held at a later date; updates to exact time and date will appear on Stettler Funeral Home’s obituary website.
