NELSON – Alice Ilene Nelson was born July 13, 1924 at Consort, AB and passed away Feb. 10, 2009 at the age of 84 years at the Grey Nuns Hospital in Edmonton, AB. She also enjoyed time spent with her seven grandchildren. She once said there was nothing like a hug from her grandchildren and becoming a great-grandma to Sage and Casey. She especially enjoyed the once a year overnight stay and trip to the casino on our “Mom and Kids” weekend. She always enjoyed visits from her nieces and nephews and her special sister-in-law Joan. Alice was predeceased by her husband Carl in 1989; son-in-law Harry in 2008; her parents; six brothers; and five sisters.
