ROBINSON - Ada Marie passed away at Stettler, AB on Jan. 15, 2009 at the age of 79. Ada was born in Stettler and grew up and attended the Prairie Grove School District and High School in Stettler. Ada and Earl were married in March 1947 and enjoyed 61 years of marriage. Ada and Earl farmed north of Gadsby, AB and then moved to their present farm in 1955. Ada and Earl worked very hard to eventually have a comfortable home and a productive farm, one for them and the family to be very proud of. Ada was involved in the Gadsby Omega Circle and the Prairie Grove UCW and supported community functions. Ada enjoyed having a large garden for her family, stopping at garage sales, family and friends coffee parties, sewing and crafting. Ada will be deeply missed by her loving husband Earl; children Dixie (Bruce) McLennan, Larry (Pam) Robinson, Jo-Anne Gould; grandchildren Jennifer Wood, Myra (Sheldon) Piercey, Kim (Don) Rude, Stephenie (Brian) Malcom, Matthew Robinson (Ashley Douglas), Jonathan Gould (Carrie York), Katharina Gould; great-grandchildren Caden Piercey, Toni-Lynn Piercey, Brandon Rude, Tyler Rude, Danika Malcom, Riley Malcom, Rory Wilson; brother Wilfred Kromm; sisters Hilda Norman, Mabel Simon; sisters-in-law Annie Dannewald, Phyllis Robinson, Ruth Kromm; brother-in-law George Rowland. A funeral service was held at the Brennen Funeral Home on Jan. 20, 2009. Memorial donations may be made to the Stettler Health Services Foundation, Gadsby Omega Cemetery or a charity of your choice.
