Lena and Brad Snodgrass are not new to Stettler. So it is a sort of homecoming for them as they take over the reins from Scott Savage, one of Stettler’s well-known pharmacists and community members.
Owner of the Savage Value Drug Mart for well over 18 years, Savage is moving on to take some time off and refocus on his future and the next lap of his journey.
For the Snodgrass couple, this is not new territory either.
They are already owners of a Shoppers store in Beaumont, and this would be a valuable addition to that portfolio.
“We are excited to return to our hometown, as healthcare professionals,” said Brad Snodgrass. “Now we have the chance to give back to a community that was pivotal for our own development.”
According to Lena Snodgrass, as pharmacists they intend to offer everything that the community had come to expect from Savage Value Drug Mart, and as the store transitions, they will start offering additional patient care services.
“Services that we have employed at other stores include prescribing medications for minor ailments, administering injections, ordering lab studies for monitoring purposes, performing medication reviews, and working collaboratively with all your healthcare team,” said Lena. “And this is just among the many we wish to provide.”
