Stettler’s P and H Elevator Preservation Society hosted a successful fundraiser on June 3.

Stettler’s P and H Elevator Preservation Society hosted a successful fundraiser on June 3.

Volunteers held a pancake-breakfast fundraiser at the elevator.

On the menu were pancakes, eggs, sausages, berries, and more.

In addition to the breakfast, volunteers did some baking with a wood-fired oven and demonstrated an antique threshing machine, a stone-ground flour grinder, a gas-powered wash machine, and a portable saw-mill attached to a tractor.

“People came out; it was a nice morning,” said volunteer Stan Eicchorn. “We appreciate the public support.”

According to Eicchorn, the fundraiser brought in over $3,000 for the society and served over 300 community members.
