Timely information about your municipality is now available at your fingertips! The Town of Stettler is pleased to announce the launch of the Town’s official mobile app, which is now available to download on the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.
The application provides direct access to the most popular features from the Town’s website such as the Business Directory, Community Calendar, Trail & Parks Directory, Waste Collection and more. Additionally, the new notification program automatically sends urgent regional alerts directly to your device, with an option to opt-in for general updates and waste collection reminders.
“The Town of Stettler mobile app is all about convenience,” says Communications Officer Lara Angus,
“We wanted to ensure that our residents have a way to quickly access the information they need while on-the-go, or be directly alerted about happenings around Town that they may have otherwise missed.”
The goal of the application is to reflect the most relevant municipal information for residents and visitors and create an efficient channel to access it. There is flexibility for this information to shift, says Angus.
“The great thing about this app is that it can evolve over time. If we notice that our website visitors are increasingly seeking information that isn’t provided on the application, we can make adjustments to reflect that change in interest.”
