Regional adventurers between the ages of eight and 13 will be wanting to stop in Donalda on Feb. 19 from 4-6 p.m. as the Donalda Library and Donalda Museum partner to bring Adventures in Time to the community.
"Everyone who signs up for the event will get the chance to be a great explorer, digging up historical treasures from around the world and learning about their history," notes the release announcing the day. "From the Great Pyramids of Giza to the Easter Island Moai, the Great Wall of China and everything in between, travellers will discover it all."
Adventurers will hunt for artifacts, learn Egyptian hieroglyphs and more.
"This adventure will be ideal for kids aged 8-13 but is not necessarily limited to those ages," continues the release. "If this sounds like the adventure for you or your family, stop into the library and have a chat with the staff."
Spots for this time travelling adventure are limited, so either stop in or call the library to register.
The Donalda Library can be reached at donaldalibrary@prl.ab.ca or 604-719-6053.
