Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, the Stettler Regional Board of Trade and Community Development executive have made the decision to postpone the 2021 Stettler Awards Gala to a future date.
The annual Stettler Awards Gala is a prestigious event that provides the opportunity to commemorate the accomplishments of outstanding businesses and citizens, noted a release.
It is a time of celebration not only for the award winners, but for the community as they honour the achievements that make Stettler such a great place to work and live.
“As we see a continual increase in cases across the province as well as in our own local area, we determined it was the right decision to take this precautionary measure and postpone the 2021 Awards Gala,” said President Matt Dorsett, Stettler Board of Trade.
“It was felt that we needed to honour our deserving businesses and citizens in person rather than through a televised or recorded event. The accomplishments of the recipients deserve to be recognized and we will do so, when it is safe to be together once again.”
Nominations are held year-round for the annual Stettler Awards Gala.
