With the success of the job fair hosted by the Stettler Regional Board of Trade in the fall of 2021, it is a project that the board plans to do more often.

Another successful job fair was held on April 26, which ran from 7 p.m.until 9 p.m. in The Hub, upstairs in the Stettler Recreation Centre.

Employer’s represented at the job fair included Points West Living, Pita Pit, McDonald’s, Sweet Home, Black Press News Media and others. In total, 18 employers were represented at the fair which managed to draw in 50 job seekers.

On site services provided for job seekers included resume and interview coaching, continuing education information and employment services assistance.

Some potential employers were even offering on the spot interviews.

With the success of the career fairs, there is potential that the Board of Trade will make it a multiple time a year event.
