Stettler Senior Social Society presented the Stettler Hospice Society with a cheque for $2,367.50 from the fundraiser at the 30th Anniversary Dance of June 22nd.

Representing the Hospice Society was Leona Thorgood on the left, Annabelle Bignell treasure of Dance Club, and Karin Phibbs, chair of the fundraising committee for the Hospice Society.

Leona Thorgood gave a very in-depth report on the progress and the heed for such a facility. She stated they are very close to operational but are waiting for a commitment from Home Care and the provincial government.
