Stettler Regional Fire responds to a single car rollover

On Friday afternoon, Station 1 in Stettler and Station 2 in Big Valley responded to a single vehicle roll over to the south of Stettler.

On Friday afternoon, Feb. 24, Station 1 in Stettler and Station 2 in Big Valley responded to a single vehicle roll over to the south of Stettler on Hwy. 56.

“There was a single female driver, who we had to extricate,” said Etienne Brugman, deputy fire chief. “The EMS crew took her to the Stettler hospital by ground.”

The incident took place between the fire borders of Stettler and Big Valley.

Later that evening, around 5:30 p.m., Station 1 was called out to a two-vehicle motor-vehicle inspection (MVI) just east of Nevis.

Thankfully, no one was seriously hurt in that incident, according to Brugman and the fire crew was promptly recalled.
