The commanding officer of the Stettler RCMP detachment is inviting community members to attend a town hall on March 22.

Staff Sgt. Jon England will be hosting the town hall-type meeting in the upstairs studio room of the Stettler Recreation Centre at 5 p.m.

“Town Halls are a great way to learn more about policing in your community and to discuss working together to reduce crime and improve public safety,” said England.

“RCMP use Town Halls to cater our policing strategies to the needs of the communities we serve.”

This will be England’s first Town Hall in Stettler since taking command of the detachment in the fall.
