Stettler RCMP advised that Darren Schmidt has been locate safe and unharmed. RCMP would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance.

On May 22nd, Stettler RCMP received a complaint that Darren Schmidt had gone missing. He was last seen leaving the Stettler hospital at 12:30 pm.
Darren has declining health and hospital staff are concerned about his well being. He does not live at a specific residence and is likely to be living on the streets in Stettler or Red Deer.
Schmidt is described as;
- alias: goes by Bonzes
- height 5’8”
- weight 180 pounds
hair: balding with long grey hair
- eyes: green
He was last seen wearing a hospital gown and robe. There is currently no photo available.
