Stettler RCMP investigating fraudulent cheque cashed

On Wednesday, April 12, a Caucasian male attended a Vision Credit Union in Stettler and cashed a fraudulent cheque, according to Stettler RCMP.

The male then used a fake Alberta driver's licence as his identification at the bank. Described as short and of slim build, the subject was wearing a dark zip sweater, dark pants, beige/tan shoes and a blue and white hat.

The male seen in the photograph of the fake driver's licence is believed to be the same person.
