It is hard to believe that the summer is half over.

Time flies when you are having fun and we are having fun here at the Stettler Public Library. Just look and see the exciting events we have to offer.

Join Krista, Megan and Reagan for our next Family Event on Wednesday, July 31th at 2 p.m.

The TD Summer Reading Club presents “The Amazing Race”. Open to all ages, your family team will meet at the Stettler Public Library to take part in challenges such as riddles, obstacle courses, and various games.

It is a great way to spend a Wednesday afternoon.

The Stettler Public Library knows that your job search does not stop during the summer.

We are pleased to have “Inform Your Search” Thursdays continuing during the summer. Are you looking for advice on your job search, upcoming interview or navigating government programs?

Would you like someone to proofread your resume? Come to the Stettler Public Library on Thursdays at 1 p.m. where a very knowledgeable volunteer will help you find job search success.

Call the Library at 403-742-2292 for more information.

Our last movie in the Summer Classic series is the classic western The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly starring Clint Eastwood, Lee Van Cleef, and Eli Wallach on Monday Aug. 5th at 7:30 p.m. at the Jewel Theatre.

The inimitable ‘Man with No Name’ teams with two gunslingers to pursue a fortune in stolen gold, but they soon discover their greatest challenge is to stay alive.

There is no cost to see this screen gem but donations are gratefully accepted.

Our Film Circuit series will begin on Monday, Sept. 2nd. We will be announcing movie titles shortly, so watch for upcoming details on our Fall Film Circuit picks.

We have set a date for the next Friends of the Library’s Historic Ghost Walk.

Bring your family and friends and join us on Saturday, Aug. 17th at 9:30 p.m. to take a meander around the town while learning some of the history and ghostly happenings of the town that we live in and call home.

This is aimed for people ages 14 and up and the cost for the walk is $20 per person including appetizers.

Call the Library at 403-742-2292 to register. If August does not work for you, we are taking reservations for the Sept. 21st Historic Ghost Walk. Call us for more details!
