The Stettler Trade Show has come and gone for another year.

Running April 12-14, the annual event featured over 120 vendors, lots of entertainment and fun for the whole family.

According to Stettler Regional Board of Trade (BOT) executive director Byron Geddes, the event was “fantastic.”

“It was very successful,” said Geddes.

“We matched last year’s numbers … there were 34 more vendors than last year. We haven’t had one negative comment.”

Geddes says that in 2023 the total number of attendees at the annual event was around 3,550; the 2024 event came “within a dozen” people of matching that number.

The success of the event has resounded within the BOT, according to Geddes, the 2025 show has already been 25 per cent booked already.

“I really think we’re going to have a sold-out show earlier next year,” said Geddes.

According to Geddes, the feedback from the vendors has been really positive with some saying the Stettler event was more successful for them than similar shows in Red Deer of Calgary.

“We have the greatest community in central Alberta,” said Geddes.

“This just proves it … everybody had a good experience.”

Entertainment at the trade show included Travis Dolter, Stettler’s own Electric Sliders, and much, much, more.

The Stettler Trade Show has been running in the community for over 40 years.

With the Trade Show done for 2024, the team at the BOT can catch their breath before they start planning for the parade running in conjunction with the Steel Wheel Stampede on June 8.
