The Stettler Health Services Foundation held their annual golf tournament June 18.

Funds raised with this years tournament are going towards the atrium refurbishment project at the Stettler Hospital and Care Centre.

While the weather did not, at first, look as if it was going to cooperate, according to organizers it turned into a beautiful day for a tournament.

Around 80 golfers participated, raising over $8,000.

“Without all the golfers and the many donors in the community, we could not provide the support to our hospital that we currently do,” said foundation chairperson Cheryl Barros in a media release.

The release noted that the Royal LePage Central team consisting of Atie Turnbull, Joy Nichols, Mike Roberts and Matt Liske were the best theme-dressed team. The theme for 2022 was 1980s fitness.
