In the long weekend, on Sunday, Aug. 6, the Stettler Regional Fire Department’s Station 1 responded to a single vehicle MVI North of Erskine on Highway 835.
The driver of the vehicle had to be extricated by fire department personnel and was airlifted by STARS after being stabilized by local paramedics.
At the moment, the incident is still under investigation.
