It’s Senior’s Week in Stettler.
Senior’s Week is recognized across Alberta in the first full week of June.
The week is intended for everyone in the province to show support for seniors and their contributions to the province’s building.
As has become a tradition in the Stettler region, the Town and County have signed a proclamation declaring seniors week.
This year, the proclamation was signed in Paragon Place Lodge on May 29 by Mayor Sean Nolls. Sitting in for Reeve Larry Clarke was County of Stettler communications director Niki Thorsteinsson.
