Round bale falls off truck, hits a semi on Hwy 21

RCMP ask public for any dash cam video from Nov. 10 near Camrose

Camrose RCMP are asking the public’s help with information after a bale fell off a flat deck truck and hit a semi.

According to police, on Nov. 10 at about 5:30 p.m. a bale hit a semi-tractor on Hwy 21 near Township Road 492 about five km south New Serepta.

A flat deck truck was headed south on Hwy 21 when it lost a straw bale. The bale fell off the back of the deck hit an oncoming northbound semi-tractor causing damage. The driver of the semi-tractor wasn’t injured.

RCMP remind motorists to secure any items they may be transporting.

Camrose RCMP are looking for the owner of the flat deck truck hauling bales. If you were driving in the area Nov. 10 at about 5:30 p.m., and have dash camera video you are asked to contact Camrose RCMP at 780-672-3342 or your local police.
