Rodeo season continues across the east central region.

The next rodeo fans have to look forward to around Stettler is the Chinook Rodeo Association sanctioned Big Valley Bustout Rodeo set to take place July 22 and July 23.

Admission at the gate will be $10 both nights of the event which will feature “bares, bulls, and broncs” according to organizer Tom Cassidy.

In addition to the roughstock events, the rodeo will also include the usual events such as barrel racing, tie-down roping, and steer wrestling.

A concession and beer garden will be available on the grounds.

The rodeo this year is being held in memory of long-time rodeo supporters Buzz Hockley and Gavin Kaiser.

Online entries for the rodeo will take place between July 8 and 11 on the Chinooks Edge Rodeo Association website and call-ins will be accepted on July 11 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
