RCMP ask the public’s help in locating the Ford F250/F350 truck. Iti s white with grey/black trim on the bottom of the doors and around the wheel wells. The truck is damaged on the rear left tire well and bumper.

Hanna RCMP investigate after police vehicle damaged in pursuit

A police vehicle was damaged while pursuing a truck.

According to Hanna RCMP at about 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 10 police located a stolen truck on Hwy 589 and Range Road 164 and while waiting for the truck to be towed they noticed what they believed to be a suspicious vehicle approach the area and attempted to stop the truck.

The driver of the truck fled and the police took chase. The pursuit ended when the police cruiser collided with the truck. The police vehicle ended up with extensive damage and the suspect truck fled the area and wasn’t located.

The truck was last seen going southbound on Hwy 851 towards Hwy 9.

No police officers or members of the public were injured during the pursuit or this incident.
